Customer: UTA Airways – Europe, Africa, Asia
Union de transport African (UTA) is a major regional airways players in the African continent with weekly flight covering over several cities in Africa with connection to Beirut and Dubai. We provided UTA with a completed ticketing, scheduling and accounting solution – the Charter Reservation System Software (CRS).

CRS allows agents all over the world to login via a web interface (using web browsers) to reserve tickets on available flights in real time since the database resides on the Internet. Regional offices in Africa can use the Internet enabled desktop applications to generate various reports and enter new data. The super user can also login using his special user name and password to schedule flights and add routes. All these transactions invoke corresponding accounting transactions giving an updated and clear financial image for the whole operation, and more…

Customer: Alkhoyol Rent a Car – Lebanon
Alkhoyol is a car rental franchise with over several branches in Lebanon and rapidly expanding. Alkhoyol wanted a system that allows inert-branch reservation. That is, any branch should be able to reserve any available car in any other branch.

For alkhoyol, xmedia developed an Online Car Reservation System (OCRS). OCRS has two moods online for high seasons when inter-branch reservation becomes important and offline during low seasons where each branch operated independently.
In online mood, local branches databases are consolidated in one central Internet databases allowing each branch to view reserve cars from any other branch after connecting to the Internet. While in offline mood, each branch can go back to work with the reservation software as if it is an independent company.
OCRS is much more than a reservation software. It has a module to compute charges under different seasons and rental agreements, a module for scheduling and notifications of cas a maintenance, fleet management, financial analysis (e.g. depreciation related to age and mileage), and links with accounting systems.
Under development is web interface allowing customers to reserve car and make credit card payments as deposits.

Customer: Ovlas Trading– Africa, Latin America
OVLAS is an international trade companies specialized in food products with operations in covering several countries in Africa and Latin America. OVLAS executes over 40 shipments a days mostly vessels from Europe to Africa.
The Accounting and Order Tracking System (AOTS) is a software that xmedia developed for OVLAS to automate its operation. AOTS allows customers in Africa and Latin America to put orders via a web interface provided by AOTS. Orders are stored on an internet server the OVLAS user go online and synchronize their local database with that on the Internet (downloading new orders). AOTS then provides a workflow inside OVLAS for the orders as they progress phase over phase (purchasing from international suppliers, shipment, insurance inspections and tracking). AOTS also allows customers to track the progress of their orders via customized web interface.
All AOTS operations are tightly integrated with an accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis and stock control modules tat xmedia developed for OVLAS.
